Does filing for bankruptcy
make sense for you?
The decision to file bankruptcy is sometimes relatively easy and
sometimes very difficult, but it is almost always frightening and
upsetting. In making a good decision, you need good information.
The more information you have, the more likely you are to make a
good decision.
You need to know:
- What are my debts?
- What is my income and what are my expenses?
- Is there anything I can do to reduce my expenses and/or increase
my income?
- What are the pros and cons of filing bankruptcy in my case?
- What will happen to the debts that I owe?
- What will happen to the property I own?
- Can I survive after bankruptcy without ready access to credit?
- Is there an alternative to bankruptcy?
